Why!? that means you have to buy ANOTHER PSP unless its bundled with the PS3 at no extra cost.

well if you buy the psp2 if it comes out it will be 3.0 or somethinf but by then we will have a downgrader for that

well, it is true that sony will 'ONE DAY' remake the psp. But its not now. Too early.
ps1 has been slimmed
ps2 has been slimmed
psp will be slimmed, but not yet.

Its not really a psp 2 its more like a psp lite and mabye with a brighter screen and a camera supposedly so u never know but im sure it will have the latest fw with it.

i am gonna be one pissed off dude if the new psp comes out this soon... I mean WTF WTF WTF!!!! I jus got my psp, it aint even hacked (2.01), no good games lineup (just getting better NOW) and they're gonna release a new one??? WTFFFFF!!!
As for the brighter screen?

or it could be possible that they will release a new one this soon due to hacking. They may be trying to pursuade the minds of people into buying a new psp thats all sexy, slim, shiney, smooth, sleek, stylish etc and it will most likely use new hardware thats not as easy to hack.
