You do not require a router to play xbox live, simply unplug your computer from your modem and that will work just fine. Routers are cheap anyway. You can frequently find one on sale for $35-40 before or after rebates. and according to xboxconnect, all you need is a PC, broadband internet,
and a game console it didnt say nothing about a router. So how do I connect to
online on xboxconnect without a router?
