from what I've head...if you have a japanese PSP...Sony says to not update you're PSP(2.0) here's more on it:
In bolded red...Sony saids

"CAUTION: This update is only for customers who obtained PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) for Japan which model number is PSP-1000 or PSP-1000 K. Upon completion of preparing, we will announce update information for the other countries/areas customers via SCE Group Web Site or other channels . For theses customers who obtained PSP® in the other countries/areas, please DO NOT update PSP® through this web site."

So i dont know, if you upgraded it, you're in bad luck...*from what i'm hearing that is...

*again...this is for the people with japanese PSP's.

Well it was always a Japanese upgrade to begin with. There are no side effects for US users to upgrade. They just don't want you to since they might change or tweak something for US.

I've read this on psp-hacks and it said there are something like tht out for the US...then again..wasnt sure...if it was US or not, but for now, let's leave this at this.

ive got a jap psp and it downloaded the upgrade its self through wirless wan so im not sure :S lol cause y would it download it its self if its not ment to be on it ?

Sony hasnt forsure that the Japanese PSP is ready for the updates or not. They think the 2.0 is something like too much for the J-PSP. Just read the article.

it was made for jap psps :S u sure its no dont use it on u.s. psps ?
