gretzky nhl is a horrible hockey game. when psp came out they should have went to ea sports for a hockey game but the took 989 sports' hockey game which is just the copy off of gretzky nhl 2005 with less stuf to do in it .

My Review: Graphics 4 Sound 5 Story 0.5 Gameplay 2.8 - OVERALL - 3.1

Graphics i gave a 4 because you could see clearly enough to play the game good but their sticks are like a piece of paper and the rest of the graphics are kind of choppy.

Sound i gave a 5 because well it is okay sound but it is nothing compared to EASports plus in the menus and during the game it is the same music over and over again.

Story................................. there is no story to this game at least in EA Sports games there is something to do other than trade players,edit lines and play hockey like set ticket prices, negotiate contracts,recieve mail and many other things.

There is nothing much to the gameplay of this game. the way you control your players is hard because you have to make their stick pretty much hit the puck for them to pick it up.

I really hope that EA Sports is going to be making NHL games for PSP

I totaly agrre with u man gretzy hockey really sucks on psp.I hate the controls especially.Its hard to know what the controls r and memorize them too like when u shoot I mostly press pass.

thank you mailas you reminded me of another bad point about the game. the way you take a slap shot is horrible. i mean........... just horible couldnt they have just made it the way EA does...but no they had to make it hard. i take my old review away ...
