Sorry if this was asked alot but after researching about SNES emulation on PSP and tried a few ones, I found no way to makes Crono Trigger run in a way that is playable even with everything tweak to the max. So I simply wish to know if anyone out there was able to play it at a "normal" speed and fluently near like it was acutally on the SNES itself (with sound on)? So far I can barely get 25 fps with sound off and max frame skip @ 333 mhz, which is quite horrid. My PSP still run 1.50 US firmware. Thanks for reading.

i use snes9x and i use frameskip at 4, plus if u make the screen normal then it should run pretty smooth. I use full screen, so it may be choppy, but if you make it normal, then its fine.

chronno trigger works fine for me.Its just that I got a new snes emulator and now the speed is screwed up.Everytime I go into another leve or something for example super metroid. If I suddenly got o Kraid or another boss etc. the music would be all slow or fast.So I always have to keep changing the graphics speed and the sound speed. So thats why I got a different version of snes.
Beleive me tho chronno trigger works fine for me.

Mailas, even with everything maxed out it's still laggish when characters does actions in fights UNLESS I put Sound off, then the game runs perfectly. And to me CT without sound/music aint really an option heh.. I know that my expectation might be a bit too high, but I couldnt even play the playstation1 version of CT since I felt the command input was a bit laggy compare to the super nintendo version. Anyway, here's my setting:
This is the software Im using:
"Snes9xTYL v0.2c (SNES Emulator)" from "Yet Another Homebrew Pack (v6.5)"
Sound: On
Frequency: 11khz
GFX Engine: PSP accel + appr. soft
Frameskip: Auto (or 0)
Rendering: Zoom 4/3
Render PAL as NTSC: Off
Smoothing: On
Speed limit: On
Video Sync: On
CPU clock: 333mhz
If you have any inputs on the settings or others tweaks, please tell.
