I live in lower west Michigan, and all I can say is that two weeks ago we had a day where we experienced no precipitation for about a week - when (in all compass directions) everyone else got snow around us, and then we had 78 degree (F) weather followed by a foot of snow 10 hours later.

There's two scary things about that.

1. It's actually quite normal here.
2. It doesn't scare me anymore.

^ you sound like you live fairly close to me lol. And yea, the heat/ AC thing is so true lol. Michigan weather is REALLY the craziest weather in the world; I truly believe that. I mean, you can live in a place that has tornadoes or droughts or blizzards or insect problems, or you can live in Michigan and get all of that in one bundle (though the insects aren't too bad, but the 17 year cicadas are so annoying).
