if there is any religion you should bash its scientology. (trust me) i dont even think it can be called a religion. and you forgetting all the witch trials, crusades, and other such things done in jesus's name. not to mention christianity says if you dont believe in that particular religion your going to eternal damnation. thats not very nice.

though im not here at psp brew to start a religious battle. that post about allah was intended to be a joke i stole of the mighty foamy the squirrel

Whenever my computer turns on theres a screen that sais HP Invent.
I am suppose to press F2. This happens everyday when I turn on my computer.
After I did that it boots the BSOD (Error loading operating system) error.
I cannot do anything after that but press CTRl ALT DEL to restart the computer.
BUt when I do this it does the same process.

Ok then if you are getting the bsod it sounds like a hard drive failure. Keep in mind that there is the off-chance that your IDE (or SATA) cable that connect the mobo to the hard drive is faulty or fell out or something... not likely though. And also, if your motherboard has alternate places to plug the drive in - use them first before declaring it as a failure.

When my girlfriends hard drive "crashed" like this, I was able to fix it by putting it in my machine and formatting it to NTFS. It had SOMEHOW crashed into RAW. After that, I was able to install windows XP and bring the computer back to life. It's been fine for about a month now. So... I mean... you've most likely lost all of the info you had on the hard drive, but at least there is a chance that the hard drive is still good to use - just gotta start over.

Im using an Intel Inside Pentium 4.

I dont know how this could of happened. I took my hardrive out, no dust or scratches.
Hmmm...well also booting my XP CD didnt work either. And Im pretty sure my data isnt lost.
The XP CD didnt even do a thing. Wouldnt boot or anything.

well... you can always get a 300 gig around 80 dollars...

Ive had many errors before but never encountered this one.
Well anyways i FINALLY entered the BIOS, but now what? Do I put in my XP CD?
If so, I do not want to get any information REMOVED. So please if you have done this before without getting your information removed, please speak.

Its not a BSOD, similiar but just an error log in DOS.
Anways im at the BIOS, help is needed.
