i remember when i got my psp
i had known i was getting a psp for christmas
for some reason i had the odd idea of putting an snes on my psp *note the fact i didn't even know i could actually do that*
so i researched it and i found dcemu and found out it was possible
a smile was brought to my face....
CHRISTMAS!!!!
was horrible not only was I sick *like really sick* I got a psp without games *the hell is that??*
though i didnt' sweat it for i knew it would all be fine when i got my snes
and recover from status effects i did only to find my step bro upgrade to the newest firmware *2.60*
so for the longest time my psp sat in my room w/o any umd's to use *decorative paperweight*
and then chance provided me with my friends gta unpatched *surprising his wasn't hacked as he has a hacked xbox*
the I realized my dreams of snes

I got my psp for christmas, found this site with theintam. Theintam helped me learn the basics ect and then i upgraded to 2.50(which back in the day was a big deal). So i traded it to my friend for his 2.00 psp and downgraded ect. Now one day i left my bag outside the school doors so i could go get baked with my friends, when i came back, no psp. I hadn't had a psp in for ever and then my friend(with my original) asked me to hack it ect. Thats when i came back and found out about CF and all that good stuff. So one day we went out bake cruisin in my buddies explorer and i ended up droppin the psp in a river.... Well i thouht it was f**k so i just tossed it aside for a month and bought him a new one. Turns out the psp is fine works 100% and is now mine again.
Is that destiny OR WHAT.

I got my PSP not too long when it came out... some time in early 05. I wanted to get it while I was in Japan so I could have a white one... and I read that UMD's were region free, so I was happy. Came back stateside and got bored with it. For some reason I had heard about running emulators off of the memory card so I started searching and found this site. I started reading and thought I was screwed since I had updated from 1.5 to 2.5 when I was in Japan.
Since then I've been downgrading friend's PSP's and coming here for updates. Thanks to everyone for you dedication in helping total strangers!

My "thank you's" are few and far between. I haven't needed help since I've been here and rarely requested it (when I was too lazy) ~ but I do think that I need to give a thank you to monkeymaximus. I'm sure you guys know the story about me already, but he had found me helping people at the psp-hacks forum and asked me to come here and mod. That was the perfect timing because I was so sick of psp-hacks treating me like garbage that I was registering with maxconsole RIGHT when monkeymaximus got in contact with me.
I'm sure I would have liked maxconsole and still helped out there and what not, but I like pspbrew so much more because I can't stand the hustle and bustle of the larger sites. PSPBrew offers everything the big sites offer and a community that is 100x better than them, so really, I just want to thank everyone just for making PSPBrew a proactive site with great support instead of making it some "fanboy-esque" site full of flames and geek-like innuendos *cough*~psp-hacks~*cough*.
