I read that if your going to use a D-Link router to connect with the dsl
internet, you need to set the router to PPPoE connection for it to work properly. I did that,
all my lights on my dsl modem seem to be on except for the "internet" one.

I can still browse the internet, just wanna know is that
normal for the internet light to stay off?

Well I am not much help here but if your internet still works just leave it like that. If not do something. Lol told you I couldn't really help lol, Or use the magical wonder of the world ""Google""

You know I was trying to use a D-link wireless router with my friends dsl and I never did get it to work His computer enver did access the internet, even though all the right lights were flashing. For some reason I don't think D-link really likes dsl at all.
