Locks

Well my brother put a lock in are basement were are internet net box etc stuff is (in a closet) and told my parents and they think its a good idea and put a timer on the internet box stuff and the internet turns off at certain times and well i used a flat screw driver and a close pin and unlocked it but i tried again but its still hard to unlock it so does anybody have any good ways to pick the lock and me beable to remember it lol.

Well the kind of lock does matter. If it is a doorknob lock then you can get in with a metal coat hanger. If it is a deadbolt you will have to get the key. Usually smart people make sure the hinges are on the inside of the locked door so you can't just pull the hinge pins. If the hinges are on the outside where you can get to them this is the easiest way to get around any lock. All you need to do is bump the pins out with a screw driver and hammer. You should be able to bump them from the bottom of the hinge. If it is a sliding door they usually have a latch that can be worked free by lifting and lowering the door on it's tracks. Please give me some more insight and I can get you in.

Edit: Except for his parents finding it on when it should be off.

Find out the last digit and you can use this tool called "lock master" or something... idk. I found it online. It generates numbers for a master lock and ONE of the combinations is the right one. Idk if that helps you at all, but ... I tried.
