Remove UMD!

Ive always wondered, does anyone know why you have to make sure theres no UMD in the drive when flashing things?

i always have one in lol

i always hav them in wen i flash all my stuff and there all fine, i even forget to take the UMD out wen i downgrade and upgrade and its still fine, so i hav no idea

What about when flashing firmware?

Mailas, I think your the only one that has ever taken out there UMD because you thought it might mess something up XD. I always leave a UMD in there so I didn't know that. Had a UMD in there when I upgraded and downgraded and accessed flash0....lol.

I dont remember, havnted upgraded in a long time. I think I keep mine in if I was playing a game recently.

...Are you joking Mailas? I've always kept my UMD in the tray for everything, i never take it out just because a lot of stuff needs it to run, so to be safe i usually just leave it in.

i think theres been some kooks that tell every one too take it out cuz they THINK it will mess it up.
