Should i give up?

Man this all sounds like crap. Seems like no ones going to make a downgrader. id rather get the new awesome psp, i know it will have high fw but MUCH better than da old one!
What should i do

no. stop whining some people waited months for a downgrader to come out. trade with someone you know. i gave up a gig memory stick to trade with my friend.
