Downgrade

yes, i understand the terrible restrictions with the PSP 2.0 Firmware. Is there no way in which to downgrade? honestly one of you code wizards has to give me some semblence of hope. i just want to play the smashpack...javascript:emoticon(':cry:')

lol n00b wab and pspdev where working on a downgrader but wab quit but i just think that wab and psp dev are the same people and just tryting to get money

well, experienced sir, would there be any way for me to delete the firmware from the psp. and if not, why is that so?

oh ^.^ sorry, just from what i've read here, i thought that i had picked up tha it was not possible to access the firmware on the psp, or at least one of the files that needed to be changed

If wab and pspdev really did scam everybody... then I am very, very disappointed and angry at them. They should be ashamed.

Most people with Firmware 1.52 and higher hate the Wab Team with a passion.

Then you have the lucky users with the firmware 1.50 and lower still respect them for the great program called the "Wabchanger 2.5) That is a nice piece of work.

Over here in the UK they are offering to 'chip' PSPs - allowing to run homebrew apps etc on v2.0

bit pricey though... £90.00 ($162.00)

I will wait a while i think :D

apparently they can 'chip' the PSP over here, how its done is beyond me but it is in fact true. A friend had her one chipped for £70.00 and it was v2.0 - now she runs emulators on it :!:
