Okay so now that we are out of a downgrader, i think it's time for us to move on. Perhaps we should just try to make some emu's and homebrews to work for the 2.0 versions? What's so difficult about programming stuff for 1.51+??
Anyways, yeah.... just a thought.

Why don't you try whipping us up some 1.51+ homebrew applications?
No I didn't mean that as in "I'm so good; it doesn't seem that hard", I meant (in a humble way) "what is it about the programming that makes 1.51+ version programming so difficult?"

hehe. Because Sony shut down the only way we know how. (the way we did in 1.5).
So here is the history:
Version 1.0 (Japan Only) - Absolutely no homebrew protection. Thus you could run anything and everything no problem.
Version 1.5 - They added a way they thought would block homebrew applications. We figured out a way around it (2 eboot files)
Version 1.51 - Fixed that only way we know to hack, so added security.
Version 1.52 - More Security?
Version 2.00 - Implemented alot of new security.
Thats why we dont have it for 1.5. From now on when people ask this question... please refer them to this thread.

sry, but not to be rude or anything, but i have a 1.51, and now everyone is just going to forget about me and say tough luck?! i no people like mio actually care because he might have the same problem but i feel that most of the moderators dont even give a sh*t. i kinda feel insulted. now it got me thinking. is there a way to open up your psp and delete the firmware. than afterwards cant we just copy a firmware 1.50 and replace it.
p.s. sorry if i sound like im retarted i just dont know much about hacking but if i did this is the way i think.

Stk, we didnt forget about people like you. Thats why I made the flashpack, so 1.51 people could have some cool stuff. I would also appreciate it if everyone checked out FlashPack Video Tutorial and made some videos for the cause. Thanks and heres the link:

well, we do care, we cant say anything else but tough luck. If i said "yea heres a step by step instruction on downgrading" that would be a total lie. Moderators and developers are 2 totaly different catagories, lol. If we open the PSP, that will void the warrenty, so not a good idea. Firmware is data thats located in the motherboard of the psp, we cant just open it and delete data thats inside the hardware. So us moderators are not computer engineers nor are we developers. So we cant do anything about this.
