what do you think would happen...

What do you think would happen if i sent my bricked wii back to Nintendo with a mod chip still inside?

they would send it back to you bricked and tell you that you voided your warranty.

Dude, just do what I told ya to do. Get the chip taken out and send it back. They will fix your Wii... maybe for free, but you will probably have to pay. It probably won't cost that much. In fact, if you call them and tell them what happened, they might even give you a price quote.

There will be a charge. The case has been opened, theres always a way to tell its been opened. Take the chip out, send to Nintendo, pay the price. :)



Learn to wait for the newer chips to come out when a console comes out. It's still too early.

Okay i talked to the modchip installer and heres what happened. He took the chip out and said once i get the wii fixed he will install it again for free :)

There was a time when Nintendo wasn't charging some people to fix their Wii's. Some people totally botched their installs, burned up the drive board, etc and were able to get free repairs. Guess Nintendo got tired of getting ripped off, lol.

you could buy another wii from costco, or wallmart, and put you bricked wii in the box an take it back, my friend did that with his psp after he messed up installing a mod chip a few years back.
