Suspicious of M33

it took them 24 hours to decrypt and put together their 3.52 CFW it's awesome yes i know the speed should be something to be happy about. But I don't know seems kinda iffy. I don't wanna get flamed but what if M33 = Sony releasing their own custom firmwares. They release feature after feature cfw after cfw then after M33 hypothetically AKA Sony has gaind the community's trust they create a CFW that intentionally bricks everyones PSP or even slides in a trojan or something to phone home back to sony who is using illegal CFW.

it aint that I a paranoid history has told me that if something is too good to be true it probably aint. That said I am still loving the patched Sony ISO LOADER

I am thinking the same thing. Dark Alex disappears super fast and then these guys come out of nowhere. They could be sony in disguise, making these firmwares less homebrew friendly. I am on 3.40 and plan to stay there until there is an update that has stuff i actually want or need

I was in your same shoes but i jumped into the pool once the sony iso loader was put in its awesome being able to play all my games that needed ums without them.

Not true, you really think Sony would make something that allows you to play downloaded games? It takes away from their umd sales. Dark Alex was just as fast as them (prolly even faster), the only reason he was slower with the latest firmwares was because Sony switched EVERYTHING on him, so he basically had to start from scratch again. There's always someone lurking in the shadows waiting to prowl, so as soon as Dark Alex left the scene it gave others the opportunity to show what they can do.

I agree with staxx, they probably heard that Dark~Alex was having problems, so they started to make thair own firmware and take it as an oppertunity.
