Does anyone have a listing of the PSP error codes? or are they still unknown?

I figured that would help with the debugging process.

So far ******** has been reported twice for a problem related to directory names. anyone gotten that error for anything else? or gotten other error messages? maybe we can figure some of them out.

Indeed. Please read the rules. The only place information such as this could be obtained is from the official SDK. Please do not post copyrighted material. It is illegal and won't be tolerated.

Oobles.

this was his reply to someone who had posted a listing of the error codes and then had them removed.

Hmmm, might as well be safe then and keep them off the boards.

I think that's bull crap..

Error codes copyrighted?????

It's like "No You cannot post the explanation of 'The system cannot find the drive specified.' "
or 404 Error..

Sony put those error codes there to tell you something quickly instead of writing the whole reason for the dysfunction..
how could they not let us know what they all mean..

Like the damn error of that 8xxxxxxx which ONLY MEANS "Unable to obtain IP from DHCP server"........
if nobody knows what that error codes mean, how could they solve it?
no, you just take a shot at the dark...
or maybe we all should call SONY everytime we get the codes, and they will be tired of it and let us release them..

we need error codes~

sony and software developers use the error codes to debug their software (games), however it makes sense that sony would try to screw anyone else that had them as it would make homebrew apps easier to debug.

And Bull crap or not, if they are copyrighted we cannot post a listing of them. however we can talk about them in our conversations.
