stuck pixel?

My brother just bought a slim psp off of ebay and opened it today just to see that it has a red pixel stuck on top of the screen. I heard that sometimes that you can fix them by flashing red, blue and green across the screen so right now i have the psp doing that but in case that doesn't work can you buy a new screen or send it to get fix and how much would these other options cost.
