just updated to 5.00 m33-6, need help with gba emulator

Ok like the title says, I just updated to 5.00 m33-6 from like 3.xx m33 couple months back.. (maybe even a year?) well I did mine and my friend's 4.01 official firmware so I had to magic memory card/pandora battery mine, everything went fine, but after I formatted my memory card (required to do magic memory card) I put my gba emulator back on, (uo-Gpsp kai something and gpsp) and they don't work anymore (says "the game could not be started. (80020148)") but my Snes9x (snes emulator) works fine.

Things i know
got 150.pbp kernel
set the the kernel mode in recovery mode
the umd's in there
got gba bios file
UO-gPSP kai 3.1 test 13
also tried other(newer) versions of gpsp, same error

What am I missing? Please help.

After formatting your memory card, if you do it with your psp on 5.01 CFW, along with your GAME folder, you should also have a GAME150 and GAME5XX folder, try placing the emulator into these folders and test them individually.
