3.30 OE-A Problems

I want to change 3.30 OE-A into either a recent custom firmware or to the most recent official firmware to hopefully play the new FFT game for PSP without lag. I hardly ever use any of the extra features the custom can do, but if it would be easier to stick with custom, I'll stay.

Also, my 4 GB Mem Stick PRO Duo is having an issue. I accidentally used it to make a Pandora's Battery Mem Stick, and now, I cannot think of how to fix it from this state. Can anyone give me some help with that as well so I can use that Mem Stick again?

Just upgrade to 3.52M33-4 or 3.71M33-2. Just follow all the tutorials in the tutorial section. And all you need to do is reformat your memory stick using like a computer or something.

Thanks, that all helped quite a bit. I managed to get up to 3.52M33, and couldn't go further since the 3.52M33-4 link wasn't working. Now, the game I was playing, Final Fantasy Tactics: Lion War, isn't lagging as badly, but it's still there. Do you know of any way to remove the lag from said game?

I don't know of any, but I have heard it has lag issues no matter what firmware your on. The best thing you could possibly do is upgrade, that's it I guess. Or go to the recovery menu and set your psp to 333mhz instead of its default (222mhz).
