Try out the tutorial section of the forum and of the information you need is in there. Also try not to double post.

thanks ecko, works perfect, the one ISO i had was corrupt i guess.

thanks for the link blackz ;)

i have a question...
will i have to copy any special files.. (since im runnin 3.52 fw) from my current mem stick, to a new memory stick when i get one? so everything will be good and i can run the psp as normal? or do i not have to worry about that?

cuz i only have a 1GB mem stick right now, im gonna get a 4GB tomarrow

and what from the firmware updates can i delete off my mem stick? (to save space) :P

sweet, you guys are makin things very easy.. thanks so freakin much for the help, thanks everyone on the site....
turns out i have acouple friends that are into psp modding, so that kinda actually helped out... because i was un-aware of the TA-082 and all those model numbers..

but now my psp is running custom firmware and its freakin great... just almost beat doom v1.3 on psp.. the game is actually better on this thing... except i couldnt figure out how to get to the save menu...

still alittle confused on why people run all sorts of custom firmwares... but oh well..

i still have acouple more questions..

final fantasy VII... is it available for homebrew or somthing?
i know that new FF7 will be coming out somtime (i think, and now i cant freakin wait!)

from what ive read, u dont need psx emulator for psp right?? just convert the games to PSP format? or has some1 already formatted the game to run on PSP?

ff7-9, definatly my all time favorite games, let me know whats up :> :D

that and any other sweet homebrew games besides doom?

You can play PS1 ISO/EBOOT files on your psp with custom firmware. You just gotta put the ISO in the ISO folder or the EBOOT in the GAME folder. You can refer to the tutorial section of how to put your PS1 games on your psp.
