Completely dead PSP

I have a used PSP that I bought that is completely dead. It does not turn on at all. The led does not come on at all. Not even the orange charging led. Before I completely dismantle it I was wondering when a psp gets bricked does the green power led still come on when you turn it on?
If it does any suggestions as to what might be gone. If it is not bricked I will check for bad of broken solder joints.

Wow, somebody scammed the used game store with a bricked PSP? That is funny, they should have checked :P
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Looking on the brighter side of your situation here's an important lesson yu can take out of it: Next time remember to actually make sure the darn thing turns on before you buy it...
