Did you try to switch X with O in the Recovery Menu?
Try rebooting the system and go into recovery mode if you can. You can go back to 1.50 if you stick the 'recovery files' on your psp.

So you can't go into recovery mode and your psp fw is 3.90? Well of course you can't go into recovery mode if you don't have CFW.

what do you mean, its stuck? and are you talking about official 3.90 or cfw 3.90m33?

he may just be stupid and remover the recovery prx or it could be corrupted the next step to tell us if you have cfw is to press the select button if the vhs menu is not there you have original fw and you should call sony and tell them you psp is broke. if under warntee they should fix it
