What memory stick size?

Hey guys, I still have a 1GB memory stick. I'd like to know what is the biggest memory stick I can use on my PSP. I got a "fat" PSP with custom firmware 3.52 M33-4

I am looking at Amazon.com for a 4GB memory stick and it's at $40 bucks. Damn! I recall paying over $100 bucks for my 1GB a few years back.

Could I use just a 4GB stick with my current custom firmware? I can't afford right now an 8GB stick.

All you need is a 2 GB stick. Do you usually carry any music/videos/pictures on your psp?
If not, you can carry a few psp games, a few emulators with several games for each. And some random homebrew apps.

I was thinking of just upgrading to a 2GB stick, but then thought if I could, why not get a 4GB and this way I can install some of those games that require over 1GB of space. What do you think? Does my current CFW accept a 4GB stick?

Do you know of any place I can confirm that a 3.40) FW will accept a 4GB stick? I'd like to be 100% before running to Amazon.com.
