nesterj is homebrew and slim doesnt support it yet

If you have the 1.50 kernel add-on installed, change the homebrew folder to 1.50 in recovery/ configuration menu and then try these steps. Can't say this will work, but it's worth a go.

1. Configuration -> Use NO-UMD (Disable it)
2. Advanced -> Advanced Configuration -> (Disable all of them)

There's a newer version of nesterj that works on 3.xx firmwares... which means it will work on a slim without time machine.

I'm using version 1.11 RM on my slim

Sorry for the confusion above. I was under the impression (from this thread click here , that homebrew doesn't work yet with Slim and I thought EMUs like NesterJ is considered homebrew. Am I right? Or is that this PSP thing you can never be to certain what's really out there?

Emulators are considered homebrew.
There is 1.00/1.50/3.XX homebrew.
The slim can't play 1.50 homebrew. But,
With the help of the Time Machine program you can supposedly load 1.50 on a slim off the memory stick.

yeah, some homebrew has been edited/updated for 3.xx firmwares, so if you are on slim you look for the ones labeled for 3.xx
