Downloads Section. If you get an emulator and want roms, you can request them on my forum.

DPM77 Note: Don't advertise in the open forum. You can advertise in your signature, as you've done. If you want to visit roxfox64's website, click the picture in his signature.

Ok, thanks for warning me.

Those are also files associated with the construction of an EBOOT.PBP file.

do you need a PSP emulator or an application to play PSP homebrew games or is the better choice to convert iso files to cso the only way (and if that's the case do you still need an app or emu)?

thanks for the help finding the games... what is the difference between the general games or LUA games? also... the games available for download don't specify which emulator i would need to play them, can you please advise?

i can't tell you how glad i am that i found this board... you guys are great!!

no emu for homebrew

you shouldn't need an emulator if you download a game that contains both folders that i indicated earlier. you just put them in the game or game150 folder

Yea, if they have the 2 folders (The one with the % and the one without) then you stick them in the GAME150 folder.

ISO/CSO files go in the 'ISO' folder in the base of our memory stick. (along with PSP/MUSIC/VIDEO)

This seems like a perfect time to advertise my website and forum!!!!!!!!!

Well, if you need roms go to my website and click on the roms tab if you need roms.

Now, to use roms in daedalus, create a folder at the root of your memstick called "N64"(ms0:/N64)
and put the unzipped rom there(.bin, .v64, .z64) then run daedlus( Should be ms0://PSP/GAME150/daedalusR13)
and select a rom from the list.

These are the settings that work best for me:

Texture update check: Every 10 Frames
Frameskip: Disabled
Limit Framerate: Yes
Dynamic Recompilation: Enabled
Dynamic Stack Recompilation: Disabled
Audio: Disabled
For Tony Hawk games:
Controler: DPad and Buttons Inverted

For StarFox64:
DPad and Buttons

For Super Mario 64:
DPad

So if you need anything PM me.

thanks a lot for your help Advent... 8)

i can't believe that i had the FW i needed the whole time while i was stressing over it. :x

so where do i go from here? do i need to do anything to my battery so that it is homebrew ready or anything that needs to be done with my Memory stick?

Your battery is fine. Many beginners think they HAVE to do something to their battery, but the battery really has nothing to do with it at all unless you have to make a pandoras battery and downgrade the firmware. Before the pandoras battery was created, you'd use a manual downgrader. Now that you don't have to, it's easy to get confused... but you're all ready to rock and roll. Download some emulators from the Brewpack on the homepage and get brewing. What are you still reading this for? - go play Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog to your little heart's content! ;)

If you need extra support via AIM, my screen name is also DarkPacMan77. I can help you get your first program up and running if you want.

i did all of these steps.. and i added the daedalus folders (daedalus and daedalus%) to the GAME150 folder after adding all the roms to the N64 folder i created in the root. when i try to run Daedalus i get a message that reads:

"The game could not be started 80020148"

Hm that is a tricky error code. Try messing with different options in your Recovery Mode and something should trigger something and you should be able to fix it.

Someone else might know whats wrong.
