Hello all im brand new to the scene of psp emulation but have been emulating on the pc for a while now so im quite proficient at it. Now ive been studying tutorials and such all around the net and i am still a little foggy and have a couple of questions and figured this would be the best place to get it so here goes.
1.I have only one slim psp with 3.71 firmware and no way to get another one with cfw on it to make the Despertar Cementerio Battery, so i was wondering if it was possible to get cfw and homebrew on it if a purchased a battery tool from a variety of sites that offer it?
2.is it possible to make a magic memory stick with one psp and a pc?
3.After you have tool and magic mem stick duo do you downgrade after going into service mode?

8) thx for the help

Answers:

1.) No you probably shouldn't because the best way is to just find another PSP with a custom firmware, getting something off of a site is really risky to your PSP

2.) idk, I've never worked with despertar cementario

3.)i don't understand the ?

you can buy one off the internet, but be careful.. scams suck.. I would ask a few people around the site where they purchased theres, just to be safe.

Also, yes you can make your mms with 1 pc and 1 psp, as long as you are running xp. Just download the "TotalNewbi installer" and once you unzip it hit the .exe

After you have the mms and battery done, you just pop them both in at the same time, and you will notice your leds going a little crazy, thats ok; means its working. I believe when they stop is when you press "x" and then they will go crazy again, then wait for them to stop.

I have modded 2 (soon to be 3) slim psp's successfully, so you can trust me.

Also if you are using a slim the screen will show NOTIHNG when you are downgrading, but if you are using a Fat psp, than you will get a bunch of loading things..
