Kk straight up dude.. we have been at this practically all day.. and i've done EVERYTHING you said.

i upgraded my firmware to m33-4 and did all the side fixes as told like deleted my flash1 folder etc.

i disabled and enabled everything you told me to.. i got the [!] type ROM. and i made the ROMS folder in the NesterJ folder located in the GAME150 folder.

i have tried everything you've asked and its not working so feel free to thorw anymore suggestions out .. becuase im stumped ..

thanks for the help so far. and i hope we can get this thing solved tonight.

One thing I can tell you is that not all Roms are destined to work. It's always a hit and miss. But do yourself a favor, download the NesterJ emu I recommend above (that's the one I find better than the rest) please look for the link two posts I made above.

btw.. what do i do with the other files like famicom and menu and stuff?

Nothing. Those files are important so the NesterJ emu works.. so I wouldn't mess with them. Have you tried using the EMU I recommend? (I am gonna stop replying until you start answering some of "my" questions.)

Did you put both folders in the Game150 folder?

Does NesterJ load? If yes, then it's working fine, the problem is the ROM.

Also, you must press O button in order to load the ROM. And in NesterJ, you must be sure it's pointing to the right directory where your ROM games are added.

Also, why do I get the funny feeling you didn't set the kernal to 1.50 on in the 2nd part of my instructions of the Recovery Menu, maybe because you didn't verify it, with me? You should also be thorough with your actions, so I know you are doing EVERYTHING I instructed for you to do. If you don't enable the Kernal 1.50 you risk hombrew not to work (like the one like Nester J).

ok so i basically went back to what you first thought , and that was getting a older version... so the version i origionally had dident work and the one you gave me dident work.. so i decided to get even older with the version till i found version 1.07 and it had no two folders or nothing i just made a NesterJ folder and put rom folder in droped in ANY roms and put it in game150 folder AND DONE!!!

Well, I don't know if I can get full credit for this, you see that older version of NesterJ used to be set to work only on a 1.00 FW phat PSP. You had to use a tool to make it 1.50 FW compatible (which would create the folder with the "%" symbol at the end). So I am just surprised it works for you.

To tell you the truth, I don't think I'll ever master all this PSP hacking stuff, but I will try my best to help and assist others of what I have learned so far.

The only thing I can assume is that when you tried to replace the NesterJ folders with the one I suggested, maybe you didn't delete them, before installing the one I suggested, so maybe all along you were still trying to play with the same one, or got corrupted.

If you ever have the guts to do this all over again, I would delete all the NesterJ folders and then try the one I linked for you, that one works the best. Trust me.
