ok so im tryin to make one for my mate so i can downgrade his phat and put cfw ive tried a few tuts(dep star cementatrio on this site) but it never works anyone know of an easy way other than an ezy installer

Have you made the pandora battery?
Usually you have to hold the L trigger as you place the battery in and keep holding for about 5 seconds until a menu pops up.

Its probley not working cause you cant use windows vista or mac (even with crossover), the only other way to do it is to run the steps that Totalnewbie does for you in command prompt which there is no point in doing when the program will do it for you, so bassically goto shcool and run it on a xp computer.
Or if your using xp already your just not doing something right so follow the directions more carefully.
