Getting iR SHell to Work?

Sorry to bother with my frustrations, but I've tried unsuccessfully to install iR Shell.
When I try to run it from either the XMB or having it autoload through the Recovery Menu ==> Enabling its .prx
I get the error message Unsupported Firmware Detected.
I am running CFW 3.90 m33-3 with kernel 1.50 enabled.
So I figured I have to downgrade to 1.50 Official using Dark_Alex's Time Machine I tried to downgrade again unsuccessfully.
Well it said it was a successful downgrade, but when I checked under System Settings ==> System Information it said I was still at CFW 3.90 m33-3.

Is there a way around this, does anyone have any suggestions?
I read the user guide to iR Shell and nothing is appearing to work.

note: I have a pandora battery and a ms, but i know there has to be a way around all that.

Thanks again in advance for any help.

Thanks, I'm working on that patch right now, on the download page it says some functionality is lost in using iR Shell with 3.90 m33-3, do you know which functions?

.::EDIT::.
So I tried it and it said unsupported firmware again, I am just going to try dropping back to 1.50 again using something other than Time Machine.
Thanks again.
CFW 3.90 m33-3 is nice, but still not supported too well.

yea since this posting, i was using iR Shell version 2.0.
what i ended up doing was downgrading back to CFW 3.71 m33-2 and installing iR Shell 3.9 on it, everything works fine now even my emulators.
when i tried using the patch for CFW 3.90 m33-3 and iR Shell 3.9, it installed fine, but i lost usbhost capabilities, so i don't use, now i am just trying to figure out the nethost so i can access my computer from anywhere. thanks though for the help.

Yeah I cant get nethost on 3.9m33_3 to work eather. Also you wont be able to access your comp from anywhere unless you activate port forwarding, but you can access it on your LAN without it if that makes any sense.

yea ive been working on that for a few now, got most of my info from the irshell forums on it...
im actually growing a little tired of irshell though, i just realized the other day that i was constantly changing firmwares and downloading this and that, but i havent played a game in awhile, so i'm going to spend some time locked in crisis core while riding a bus and remember why i bought a psp to begin with.
