Black Screen Help

Hey, this is fallen something happened to my account but w\e. Well anyone i quit psp brew because my screen was broken. But when i bought a new screen I turned the psp on and the screen wasnt completely black but was dark..Like when I put a glare on the screen u can see the picture but barely. I dont know if i dont have it plugged into the psp correctly or what. But It's very annoying and i know its not bricked because i can still move the buttons and itll make the noise that it makes when the button has been moved. so its not bricked. I'm going to keep trying to get it to woek until i get a reply please give me some suggustions i dont wanna find out i just bought a screen for no reason. Thanks! BTW the screen is really closed to black but u can still see a little bit..

Im going to guess its something with the output as in the thing that tells the screen what to display. That or you didnt clip it on tight enough.

Most likely whats wrong is that you bought a screen that didn't have a backlight.
Just return it and get one with a backlight.

How did the og screen break?
Did something hit it directly?

The red light is the UMD lens.
The orange Light is the ms light.
Are you 100% sure that you didnt buy a Non-BL screen?
You can check by putting the screen in then shining a
bright light on it if it looks the way a Gameboy
screen did then you simply bought the wrong screen.

The other screen broke when i was screwing a screw in the back the screw drove into the back of teh screen but it worked fine besides the fact that it had half a black screen but after i messed with it all of the sudden it started doing wat its doin now
