beginner 3,90 sony firmware could i get costume firmware

what dose costume firmware do and can i get pokemon on it thanks

basically custom firmware is Modified sony Firmware that allows for a wider array of options and the use of running Homebrew, such as pokemon on a GBA emulator. First you Need to get Custom Firmware. Do you have a Slim PSP or a Fat PSP? Either way you need to get Pandora's Battery and a Magic memory stick that installs Custom Firmware. I used Despertar del Cementerio (which is a universal Custom Firmware installer/Unbricker), and the newest one is Version 5. Then after you Figure that out, you can get a GBA emulator, or the GBC emulator and put whatever pokemon Roms on it that you want. First though you need CFW.

Yes, since ur at 3.90 OFW u will either need Pandora or DC.

ok ok what a Pandora or DC and where do i get them

DC is Despertar del Cementerio, its very similar to Pandora, it just works with Slim PSPs and phat psps. Basically, its a combination of a special battery and a memory stick that when used together boot up the psp and install Custom Firmware. There are Tutorials for this out the wazoo on this site, i made my pandora battery a while ago.
