GAME folders?

I am a little comfused by the homebrew stuff. Ive seen that people use other folders than the GAME (ie: GAME150, GAME350 and the like). What is the point of this? Ive got all my emu's in the normal GAME folder and if i try to move them into another one they wont show up at all.

Does it really matter if i use the other 150 and 350 folders?

This is on my slim 3.90 M33-3
Phat 3.71->pandora 1.50->3.90 m33 (Sold on Ebay, suckers)
Slim 3.71->semi-brick->Nand Recovery->DCv3->3.71->3.80 m33-2->3.90 m33-3->4.01 m33-2
Want cintro for 4.01 m33? get cintro_390and Autostart_V4.zip, just follow the readme.

Stick w/e game that requires w/e kernel in w/e Folder.

EX:

1.50 homebrew would go into the GAME150 folder
3.XX homebrew would go into the GAME3XX folder (along with the 1.00 homebrew)

You can stick w/e in the GAME folder. The kernel for that folder can be changed in the Recovery Menu from 1.50 to 3.XX so if you set it to 1.50, you put 1.50 homebrew in the GAME folder.

you can just put it all in the game folder, then you just have to change your kernal in recovery.

i have put them all in GAME, didnt change a thing in recovery and all my brew works. (just curious if im missing out on some extra stuff because im not using the other way.)

I tried switching homebrew from 1.50 to 3.90 kernal in recovery properties, but it didnt do anything. I tried putting games/apps/homebrew/emu's in GAME390 and they wouldnt show up in the menu. So if your talking about changing the kernal in a different fashion, please explain.

Before like 3.71 you had to put the app's in the folder that corresponded with the kernal they needed to run, but now you can just stick them all in the game folder, and the reason your app's dont show up in 3.9 is cause 80% of apps run on 1.5.
