PSP freezes while in XMB

When I go to play a UMD or go under GAME then Memory Stick, my psp freezes.
Any easy fix for this?

Nothing whatsoever. Hm.. it was fine this morning. Then I copied some iR Shell folders over and some other stuff, Ima try to figure out what caused it.

Nah its still messed up, I have no idea what I did, when I let it sit still and try to load the icons then it freezes.

It was the custom xmb sounds that I added, it seems that this one doesn't work too well on 3.71.
Are there custom sounds specifically for certain firmwares?

Well, i'm not totally sure about custom sounds b/c i havn't used any custom themes since 3.52m33, but I use 3.90m33-3, and i've heard its slightly more stable.

Yea, maybe try upgrading to 3.90 M33-3 (if thats not what u already have). I have 3.95 Gen (NOT v2) (to test it) and when u switch from Recovery mode back to XMB by pressing Select then R back and forth it eventually freezes.
