I would suggest searching. The firmware version on your PSP is irrelevant as the method of installing custom firmware on all psp's is the same now.

Search for Pandora's Battery. Look in our tutorials section. Read. Learn.

i made a magic memory stick and opened my battery to make a pandoras battery (fat battery) and its diff to all the batterys on youtube mines only got one chip on the top unlike all the rest ive seen which have two! so im stuck now aint there anyway i can do this without using pandoras battery? otherwize i will have no choice but to go and buy another battery to do this which i dont really want to do as i might aswell pay somebody to do it for me?? let me know thanks.

There were firmware specific downgraders which are unstable compared to today's pandora method, and I'm not sure at what firmware they stopped developing them. You're going to want the pandora setup in case anything goes wrong with your PSP. Just do it right the first time, don't shortcut.

stoped

the old methods stopped at 3.50. yeah know im old school.

also f you dont want to try and take you battery apart you can still make a pandora but you will need some one elce with a psp thats already modded. check out thspost for more info
