As for the battery door and analog nub, check coolmods.co.uk for the replacement parts.

As for your guy moving by himself, i would suggest placing the new nub on first. If that doesnt help, there is a small clear rectangular piece that sits on the contact points for the analog compartment. Fidget around with that a bit then place your faceplate back on and it should work out.
