2 Questions

I just purchased a fat psp 1000 with 5.1 Firmware.
I already have a psp 1000 w/5.00 m33-4

Is it possible to downgrade w/o a pandora and magic mem stick.

If not, is it possible to use a dead psp battery and create a pandora?
Reason I ask is I have a few dead batteries that the psp will recognize but just stays saying it is charging.
Was thinking if I have the power cord in will the pandora still work? or is it impossible to create one with a dead or semi dead battery. Just curious.

Also, I think I saw somewhere that a psp is easier to be downgraded if I have 2 psps and one w/cfw.

Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

well I don't really understand your "few dead batteries" statement but yes, if you have a psp without cfw and a psp with it, you can make a pandora battery with the CFW psp and use it on the other

Ok I am using the [Tutorial] Pandora's Battery Installation Procedure and am getting a Game Error.
I have reformatted my mem stick 3 times and updated kernel thru the recov menu.
Is there any other place, setting I need to make sure is set a certain way?

Please help.. Im stuck.

Well I am now using my GOOD battery to create a magic mem stick and pandora but its not working.

I get to the part above in the Tutorial and nothing happens and I am getting that game error. Also I tried using that link to the pandora easy boot installer but it says 3xx and my cfw is 5.00 m33-4.
Can I still use this? if so, how? it gets stuck at the part that says its writing to my mem stick 1.5 and says it will take a while and get coffee but just sits there FOREVER.. what gives?

here just use this guide. Pacmans tutorial is outdated, works fine but is the harder way of doing things.
