Im at 1.5 firmware with a phat psp. I want to get custom firware. i put it on my psp but it wont work Ive read the tutorials its still i cant figure it out.
Ive tried:
5.00 M33-6 and 4.01 M33

All i really want to do on my psp is emulators of old systems, run psp game isos and UMDs.(if you can do that)

So if anybody can tell me the best firmware for what im tring to do or why its not working.

also on the sites it says you have to have CFW to get new CFW

i hope someone can help

You cant directly update to anything above 3.52 M33 from anything below 3.52... Don't remember why anymore...but yeah you'll have to update to 3.52 M33 then update that to M33-4...then from there you should be able to update to 3.71, 4.01, 5.00 M33 or whatever you want.

There should be guides for those firmwares in the starter guide in our tutorial section.

Um im trying to download 3.52 m33 and i start it upand it says

loading 1.50 firmware... Flie 150.pbp couldn't be opened
press x to exit.

you ran the kxploit patcher from step one and then copied the contents of step 2 into psp/game? not the folder that says step 2 but the folder inside of the step 2 folder.

Sounds dumb but many people actually copy the folder entitled step2 into the location.

Idk maybe you dont have the 150.pbp file in your folder i dont remember how you do that but thats just a suggestion.
