So, how can I play ps1 games on the PSP?

I have the following:

PSP Phat

Running: 5.00 m33-6

I've downloaded the eboot file do I just put in the game folder or the iso folder?

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Put it in a folder inside the game folder.
Example: X:/PSP/GAME/Breakout/EBOOT.PBP

No.
No plugins are required to play PSX games on your PSP.
You just need custom firmware. :D

If you have original disks I recommend finding Autopopstation 4 to make your ISOs.

IF you really want to get fancy you can also get a program called Icetea to set up your icons and build your Eboot. Use RS-GUI PopStationMD v3.00 for multi disk games on one Eboot.

Only some of the more temperamental titles such as "Chrono Cross" require plugins and that is only because they run under certain firmwares better than others.

Good luck and have fun.
