Homebrew help again

I have come across a psp-1001 battery a few days ago. I think i will attempt to homebrew enable my sysytem put i need help. I don't have another homebrew enabled psp so i need some advice there. I have also heard something about soft modding a battery, that dosen't require opening it. I sthis an option and can some post a very good step by step tutorial link for me. You can only soft mod a battery if you have another psp with CFW you can hard mod it and change it back (see in the tutorials)
