psp 3000 slim problems

i just recently bought a psp 3000 slim system and i have no plans of buying games in stores.
i found out that you can download psp games for free online. but i also heard that the new psp 3000 slim won't be able to read it as a game.
what should i do? can you help me out?
i kinda need a step by step procedure here.

Step 1: Do not post the same thing in multiple forums!
Step 2: Buy a PSP 1000 or 2000 model because 3000 can't run copied games.

really? so no chance at all? i thought i saw in the news thread of this site that psp 3000 got owned already. is it not true?

Not owned in any really useful way so far. Either be VERY patient or go buy a used PSP.

i see. i guess i will just wait. enjoy ofw for a while before cfw comes for the psp 3000.
