Hey I just got a phat psp running 5.55 firmware. What is the best guide to follow to put a cfw on it.

After doing a little research its saying that I have to have the pandora battery to downgrade the firmare but those were posts from over a year ago. Is there anyway to do it without using a pandora battery?
