I've noticed some homebrew aps and games have a second folder with the same name, just with a % infront of it, with an eboot file inside. Can I delete these, or are they important?

those are the kernal mode exploit folders, i dont know the details, but kernal mod eis neccisary for homebrew to work on 1.5 and up, so u need those.

the apps usually come with 3 eboot files. you'll use a single eboot (it'll be one of them without the percent) for your GAME folder. Youll use two eboots for your GAME150 folder (one without percent and one with) The difference between them is the kernel it operates on. If you have your kernel set to 1.50 you use the one that goes in the GAME folder, and i'm sure the other kernel setting doesnt need an explanation since its the only possibility left. Anyways when you go to unzip your files from the folder you should see the path and then you'll recognize which goes where.

In this image you'll notice two different paths 1.0 and 1.5 (1.0 being for your GAME, 1.5 being for your GAME150)

the kernal exploit is neccicary on all 1.5 and up unless you have a custom firmware that allows 1.0 non exploited eboots.
the reason there is a 1.0 in the path section is because some games are made to work on all firmwares, but 1.0 can run non keploited, and is the only one that can unless you have a cfw that says differently.
