Ok, Im completely stuck

I have a PSP version 2.82 and i think i screwed up. I REALLY *emphasis on really* want to play PS1 ISOs, i have a few and i also would like to play GBA ROMs. i have looked at downgradeing, dont really understand it and it looks unsafe. i have looked at a few things but im still wondering. What would be the best way to get my PSP homebrewing? What would it take? How long would it take? Is it safe? and last of all am i screwed? :(

Any veiws on the subject would be much appreciated.

Hey I got your back man. Here's what you do.

1.) You have to use the 3.03 downgrader now. That means that you need a copy of Grand Theft Auto (but it needs to be an older one with the firmware 2.00 update on it). This is NEEEEEEDED

2.) Next, you upgrade to a custom firmware. I'd suggest to upgrade to custom firmware 3.03 oe-c. Custom firmware is needed to play your ps1 isos ;)

For both of those steps there are nicely written tutorials on this site. You can find those tutorials by clicking the link in my sig ;)

Also, I am available for help on both AIM and MSN so if you want help just PM me and I can give you one-on-one assistance.

God f**king damit, this is confusing. When you use the downgrader you have to go to 3.03 then use the GTA: LCS to get to 1.5?

Yes because the downgrader was designed for the 3.03 firmware.
