2.71 Downgrade (TA-082)

I was looking through the nice tutorial on this in the tutorials section, and ive got all the files. But, in there it says "Step 2
Open up the ta082down.rar file you downloaded earlier and move the UPDATE and idstoragechange folders to your PSP/GAME. Then take your 1.50 Update eboot and rename it to UPDATE.PBP. Now put that UPDATE.PBP file in x:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder."

Mine doesn't have these folders...all it has is:
PSP
SYSTEM
BROWSER
SAVEDATA
UCUS98603PROFILE00


Am i supposed to just create those folders myself? I looked through the MS_ROOT in the hend.rar, and all it has in there is PSP/PHOTO

If you dont have the folder make it,its that simple.

Well i just fixed it a different way...i went back to the tutorial thread and saw some people having problems who formatted it...so i did it and now its all there! yipee!

Help ...did i do something wrong!? I copied everything exactly...then went into photo, clicked on hend...and a red screen popped up...now it went black...buttons dont do anything...should i cut it off? im so worried im gonna brick this...sh*t!

edit:it goes blue for 2 secs, then red, then cuts off....ive tried it twice now

edit2: great, now i tried it again...and it said the image cannot be displayed...and there was a box around the file underneath rand.jpg saying unsupported data type...now it froze...and buttons dont do anything

refomat the memory stick and try again,and will will take a few trys to get it to go green

well...it seems to have worked correctly....the update finished...and the blue error screen popped up...took forever though...i thought i had bricked it...now i just gotta put in date stuff...woo!

edit: is this normal though? taking 30 seconds to display every new screen after i input one setting.

somethings gotta be screwed up...the screen pops up after 30-60 secs...then if i click one button or dpad direction...it goes black again for another 30-60 secs...but yet it is still functions cause i can hear the clicker.

yep, i must've broken it somehow...i turned it on and off twice and it still does this...i mean sheesh, am i supposed to memorize the location of everything on here so i can use it?


edit...again: ok thankgod!!!!! its nto screwed up! i searched google and found http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/473206

so i took otu my ac adapter and it seems to be fine woo!!!!!!
