PSP simi brick?

Ok well i was adding a theme to my psp and well i exited the psp recover thing and well when the psp turned back on its just a black thing with the green light on. how do i unbrick it i have 3.03 oe-c

I thought bricks was a one way street,
But im outdated so dont ask me lol.
I always thought once you bricked your screwed,

i think u put a 1.5 eboot in the game folder and then make a folder and put the eboot in it then name it recover then start then run program at /psp/game/recovery/eboot
like i sayed i think

Replace the new file you put in with the old one. I had the same problem twice and it just turned out to be a bad file. All i had to do was put the old theme back in and it worked perfectly again.

Ok i have not done anything to it yet but i cant just replace the old one cuz i have like no memory on my mem stick so it will not let me. i tried deleting music but it still said not enough room ill get it soon.

Thanks for all the help all i had to do was kick it at the wall and works fine.

Lol just kidding but all i did was i had made a back up copy of my vsh file or w/e it is called and just replaced it now my psp works again.

Gota love Custom Fireware for being able to get out of a brick.

you can download a full rco back up off of a site... or some ones "ultimate xmb theme" thread... its been a while i cant remember whos it was...

alll you gatta do is replase your resource file or what ever file you screwed up on. Usin recovery mode.

Kay. Well i had it fixed and everything and i was changing my XMB theme again and guess what it didn't brick my psp but when the Sony logo thing starts up it frieze's and when i make it so it doesn't show it and does the same thing but on a black screen i replace the folder etc and still noting.

Well if replacing the flash0 files didn't do the trick, then you should recover to version 1.50 and then reflash the custom firmware. Heck, 3.30 oe-a is out so maybe you should install that now ;)
