try it again hold "R" When you turn ur psp on and then if that works all you gatta do to unbrick it is to replace the resourse dile. (i bricked my PSP 4 times last night screwing up my resourse file bu tluckily i had a spare resourse file and recovery worked.

So let me get this straight...you were on custom firmware and you decided to try and downgrade to recover?....When your already at custom firmware you dont downgrade, you recover using the 1.50 eboot. I got confused for a second when you said "flashed a new recovery"...for a second i thought you meant you edited the look of the recovery menu. Anyways, if you were still able to access the usb to add the 3.03 downgrade files, then you could have used the 1.50 eboot (renamed to update.pbp) to recover since it has to be placed in memory stick > psp > game > recovery > update.pbp

Anyways, if your still able to get to the recovery menu then yes you can unbrick
Just follow the instructions here http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showth ... 7c&t=49967

If you dont feel like placing the folders manually, you can use the recovery here...
