I download the movies from a website that provided movies and iso/cso
I also tried reflashing the firmware as well.

my god.... i dont know which options to use... ie, video/audio. i know the psp has to be in the .mp4 format, but what do i choose for video (scale size, ratio, frame/sec, etc) and audio (sampling frequncy, etc) i dont know what is good quality or crap quality.
i just want a good picture and good sound and a small file size!

right now, im converting the .mp4 file that i downloaded to a .wmv file. once that is completed i'll reconvert it back to .mp4

rename it to MAQ00050 or any number at the end, and put it in the 100ANV01 folder, if you haven't,
create one.

i did that already... it still says corrupted or unsupported data. but doesn't 3.03OE-C play all .mp4 videos regardless of the filename?

it happens to me too sometimes, its really because its in AVC codec, download SUPER
which is here www.erightsoft.com, while the programs open, go under Sony PSP and
choose AVC for the codec.

For the settings choose 320:240 for the video scale and choose 24000 as the sample Frequency.

I really don't know if 3.03oec is able to run the video scale higher than that, but the videos seem
to work for me when I choose those options.

I haven't read the majority of this question, but regular ol' .mp4 files should be able to be thrown in the x://video folder.
