FW 3.10-OEA mp4s still not working

I'm back. A changed my FW to 3.10-OEA a while back ago. my vids still don't work. A while back ago, i assumed that it was my memory card that was causing the issue. I bought a 2gig fake memory card (don't ask!) and everything was fine, it read and wrote but it wasn't magicgate supported. so yesterday, i bought a REAL sandisk 4gig memory card that is magic gate supported. I tried the mp4s but it stills says corrupted data or unsupported data. I've placed it in both the mp_root folder or video folder but it still gave me the same results. What i did is that i downloaded an .avi file and used SUPER to convert it to both mp4 and PSP format, and it still doesnt work.

Please help me..............again.

Thanks!

I suggest upgrading to a higher firmware, 3.40 OE or 3.52 M33 or 3.71 M33.

ok... an mp4 movie worked (downloaded from a site) so, I placed it in the \VIDEO folder and it worked flawlessly now. But i want to convert an .AVI file to .mp4. I'm using SUPER encoder to do the conversion with the advised framerate/encoder from the previous posting. i'm hoping that it works, but what i'm concerned about is the filename. The mp4 that worked is only one .mp4 file, ie: NAME.MP4 but with the AVI to MP4 conversion, it's converting from 1 avi file to 2 or 4 files, ie: MAQ00000.mp4 and MAQ00000.thm and from previous conversion attempts, the converted mp4 file becomes "corrupted data" after i save it on my mem disk. any clue to why i get that error?

Not sure, you might have some kind of bug on your firmware, you can easily upgrade to 3.40 OE form your firmware.
