Downgrading using GTA LCS

hi

i am stuck trying to downgrade my psp from 2.81

- i have down loaded the 3.03 FW (the file is named 1EBOOT.PBP)
- i have put the file in to the file <Psp drive>:PSP>GAME...
- but there wasnt a file called update so i created on in the game file and copyed the eboot in to it.
- i then go to the game menu on the psp and then the mem card menu where update is but it says Currupted Data.

i dont know what im doing wrong but i would be greatful if anyone could tell me and/or give me a walk thru to downgrading to 1.5 using GTA LCS

thanks

make sure the GTA game is the unpatched version.

look at the numbers at the bottom of the side under the playstion controler and the numbers should be: ULUS
: 10041
hope that helps

I'm still having problems

I have reformatted the memory stick. I go into the psp files. PSP>GAMES> then create the UPDATE folder and drag and put the 3.03 update into the folder. Ive downloaded the file from two different sites and no matter what I've done im still getting corrupt data. Am I not able to do this? I current have 2.81 firmaware and trying to downgrade. Thanks for the help!

Yup, you need to change the name from 1eboot.pbp to eboot.pbp. Then it will work :wink:

I've also seen eboot files named after the firmware they are. For instance:

1eboot.pbp = firmware 1.00
15eboot.pbp = firmware 1.50

I'd honestly just look for a different download for the 1.50 eboot.
